Tim Reid is a Chartered Landscape Architect, who graduated from the Edinburgh College of Art in 2003. Tim is also a graduate of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh with a qualification in Horticulture and Plantsmanship. Tim has been in private practice in Edinburgh working for landscape architecture and environmental consultancies before setting-up Urban Wilderness in Edinburgh in 2009.
During his 9 years of experience, Tim has worked on a variety of projects from university campus master planning through to private estate developments and inner city playgrounds.
Tim has a passion for planting design and has a guiding philosophy that well-considered urban planting can lift the soul and breathe life into the urban environment. Tim believes that high quality planting offers an important counter-balance to the mono-tone concrete townscapes which are so prevalent across the UK.
